An Erasmus + project of strategic partnership with other 5 nations is the one in which the Virgilio Institute of the Municipality of Eboli will take part. Portugal, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania will be the nations that over the next two years will mix culture, traditions and disciplines with Italian ones, with the absolute protagonists of the students.
The Sport to Educate, to Integrate, to Become Citizens of the World project idea will be based on sports, given that sport is one of the main vehicles of cohesion and growth, especially among young people. The project, in these days saw the guests of the school the teachers of the European institutes alacoala Gimnazială ,, Ştefan cel Mare ”Bistriţa of Romania🇷🇴, Agrupamento de Escolas do Cerco do Porto de Portugal🇵🇹, ies al-basit from Spain🇪🇸 , Sredno uchilishte Hristo Botev from Bulgaria🇧🇬 and the 3rd primary school Grevena from Greece🇬🇷, to discuss and coordinate all activities.
The path taken will last two years and each nation will choose a sport to try (Football, Mini Basket, Tennis and Olympic Games). An opportunity for human and social growth for the many youngsters as Tonia Policastro, the project's creator, Massimo Cariello, mayor of the city of Eboli and the manager Gabriella Ugatti who will have the honor of closing the event with her school in May 2021.
Virgilio Institute
Un progetto Erasmus+ di partenariato strategico con altre 5 nazioni è quello a cui prenderà parte l’Istituto Virgilio del Comune di Eboli. Portogallo, Grecia, Spagna, Bulgaria, Romania saranno le nazioni che nei prossimi due anni misceleranno cultura, tradizioni e discipline con quelle italiane, con protagonisti assoluti gli studenti.
L’idea progettuale Sport to Educate, to Integrate, to Become Citizens of the World avrà come base le discipline sportive, dato che lo sport è uno dei veicoli principali di coesione e crescita soprattutto tra i giovani. Il progetto, in questi giorni ha visto ospiti della scuola gli insegnanti degli istituti Europei Şcoala Gimnazială ,,Ştefan cel Mare” Bistriţa della Romania🇷🇴, Agrupamento de Escolas do Cerco do Porto del Portogallo🇵🇹, i.e.s al-basit dalla Spagna🇪🇸, Sredno uchilishte Hristo Botev dalla Bulgaria🇧🇬 e la 3rd primary school Grevena dalla Grecia🇬🇷, per confrontarsi e coordinare tutte le attività.
Il percorso intrapreso avrà durata biennale e ogni nazione sceglierà uno sport in cui cimentarsi (Calcio, Mini Basket, Tennis e Giochi Olimpici). Un’occasione di crescita umana e sociale per i tanti ragazzi come ci raccontano Tonia Policastro, l’ideatrice del progetto, Massimo Cariello, sindaco della città di Eboli e la dirigente Gabriella Ugatti che avrà l’onore di chiudere con la sua scuola la manifestazione nel maggio 2021.
